N. ventricosa x maxima

Here is a photo I would like to share.

Over the past couple of months one of my N. ventricosa x maxima has gone vining mad. The vine has produced upper pitchers, but just the past few days, a new basel growth has thrown some new pitchers. It was kinda neat to see uppers and lowers together from the same plant!.

Wow I love it when hybrids of two very common species look great! Its cool how the lowers have the shape of a Ventricosa but the colors of Maxima, and the uppers look like a maxima upper but with the unmistakable ventricosa peristome. Sweet!

Very nice. The upper reminds me of ventricosa porcelain. I'm a sucker for maxima so I love it.
