N. Argentii question(s).

I’m thinking about getting argentii; any recommendations or tips I should know? What conditions can it handle and what does it like?

It's an excellent Nepenthes! You should be prepared to give it high land conditions.

Good luck is all I have to say.

I have tried growing this species on 3 separate occasions and it has proved to be one of the hardest plants for me to keep alive for longer than a year or two in my collection. Usually it grows just fine for about a year, and then it just slows down and dies.

That being said I love this species and I will probably try to grow it again.

Does it die from rot or does it just stop growing?

In my experiences it was just a slow and steady decline as it slowed growth and then eventually stopped all together.

I have that exact same experience with densiflora! I’ll make sure it gets those night time drops.
