My plants from RL7836's charity sale so far

Just an update on the seeds that I bought from RL7836's charity sale a while back. See the following thread if you don't know what I'm referring to:

Here is the picture:

Top row from left to right:
3,7,9,10
Bottom left plant is number 14 and the plants above it are number 11
The middle left on the bottom is number 18 and the middle right on the bottom is bumver 20
The bottom right is vft mixed seedlings and the plants above that are S. alabamensis

The previous numbers correspond with the numbers of the plants that were for sale.

I also got some cephalotus seeds, but so far none have come up. Anyone else have any cephalotus seeds come up yet?

Post your pictures to show how your plants are doing!

Great growing!

I got VFT 'B-52' which is in the fridge right now.

My cephalotus just finished its second pitcher with teeth. I am waiting for the teeth to color up and will post a picture later this week.

Dang, what'd you do to your cephalotus seeds? I put mine in the refridgerator for 8 weeks and now they're sitting under the lights.

ceph seeds do not require a cold stratification for me.

Trek...I think it is VERY nice that you are giving updates on seeds you've received.

So many times members give away/trade seeds to people and they never know what happened to them. I think it's nice for people to see that their seeds were put to good use.

So thanks for doing that so the givers know how their "shares" are doing.

Trek,
Thanks for giving us an update on your seed germination - very impressive!

I stuck seven in some existing pots once the sale was over (no stratification). So far, three have sprouted - all within the past 2 weeks. Here are some pics from today (apologies for the quality - this is very much at the limit for my little point & shoot camera ...).

The 1st one (which sprouted 1st) is sending out something that looks like a tiny pitcher. The 'giant treetrunk' in each is a toothpick and the coin is a US penny.

I agree with PAK (& Pyro in another thread) - I think it's great to provide an update how the plants & seeds are doing. I love hearing from folks & seeing pics. I'm always curious on how the seeds are germinating & how well plants are growing.

Although some of my Cephs have flowered before, this is the 1st time I actually planted some of the seeds. I placed them all in small depressions - some left uncovered & some covered with a bit of media. So far, only the covered seeds have sprouted.
