OK thanks. Anyone else think or know what it is?

This is also in the wrong section, it should be in the ID forum since you were asking for an ID of the plant...

I guess but he never really asked for the ID... maybe he was just showing off his "unknown" nep (a great looking plant by the way!)

More like Deroose alata. That's what I've seen Deroose Plants selling as an alata. Probably a ventrata, that they're selling.

Definitely ventrata. I just got one myself. Look forward to a 6 foot per year growth rate. Your pitchers look very red.

Yes, it is a n xVentrata. Try providing it with cool conditions to bring out the reddishness of the pitchers, which is the best part of this plant!

I have one of these and another with large pitchers - both from deroose, but the dbags don't put any labeling other than carnivorous plants and pitcher plant. Is there a set # they put out, or ?? If they had another with much larger leaves and pitchers it would be a?? I know that is a broad question, and if they sell more than just two irrelevant. I am just trying to get info. And I am not quite sure how to link a pic to a post on this site. I would put up pics if I was familiar with how to do that. I do have a photobucket account, and have not figured out how to post a pic from there to this forum. All things in time, I guess.
By the way, this ventrata suffered some damage in this unseasonably cold winter - in the garage but still got too cold. But it it coming back like gangbusters. There are perhaps nine or more stalks coming out and beginning to set pitchers. Should I divide it? It is exactly the same type hanging basket as the one from this thread.
