I have a plant that I keep indoors in my downstairs setup, but decided to take it outside while I cleaned out the setup. Low and behold I found that it caught two giant carpenter ant queens! These things are so nasty, mean and the size of nickels.

... better in there than my walls, or biting me.

That's cool, but I'd acclimate it to full sun.

Sadly I don't have the proper yard space around the house to keep them outside without them getting knocked over, messed with, eaten, etc... so they have to veg in my setup instead. I've been thinking of some ideas on how to correct some of that, but that might not be till next season.
