Ant

Your one and only pest!
I got 3 purple pincher hermit crabs this week and I thought I would share some pics. I am still looking for some plant that won't take over and will stay small. The white shelled one is being shy so no close up pics. of him.

Since my black shelled purple pincher hermit crab died I got 4 tiny equadorian hermit crabs. They are a different color and are allot more active. It was really hard to get pictures of these guys!

Just an amazing act by a hermit crab! Now I know how they are escaping without using the drift wood! 2 were acually doing this at the same time but, this gal was the one facing away from the light so only she came out. If you look you can see she has sharp nails and hairy legs witch means she has molted resently (not with me). I do have 1 crab that molted with me and needed a new she because of it! They are all alot less shy and 4 are common sights on the surface, the other 3 are down destressing or molting.

She is making me so much better with close up and zoom pics! I in no way regret chosing these over anoles! She was there for 10 min. when taking pics then she climbed to the top and hung upside down! I suggest anyone with an empty 10 gallon should get some, they may be a little expencive to set up but, they can live so long! My favorite exotic pet so far!
