My first Venus fly trap 😀

I bought my first Venus flytrap back in April, (big mouth) and it looks like it's doing very well. But I have a question. I really want to repot my plant. There are more than a dozen small traps, so I'm thinking I have a lot of rhizomes splits. So should I wait till the plant is in full dormancy or just starting dormancy. I've seen many videos showing that it doesn't matter if it's in full dormancy or starting dormancy would like help figuring out when the best time to do it, oh and I live in Central Georgia if that helps

This is just my reasoning but I like to repot as plants are coming out of dormancy. I figure they are getting ready for a burst of growth, which they can use to re-establish roots and such. Your plant looks happy and healthy so I would expect it will do fine whenever you repot it.

That sounds very valid, I think I will take that route

You can repot VFTs any time of the year especially since the USDA hardiness zones of central Georgia are similar to that of their natural habitat. Bluemax gave you the best answer. Hope that helps!
