Well, in staying true to the process of posting big things in my life, (I think this was the last one, and has a list of some priors Another life moment of mine, documented here. ) I need to announce that my daughter has graduated college holding an associate of applied science automotive- Ford ASSET (Ford Automotive Student Service Educational Training – ASSET ). She graduated with 19 automotive related certificates and is now officially a master tech at a local dealership (she has already been working as a tech there as of the day she turned 18, they were waiting for her!).
What an amazing but challenging 2 years it has been. Pushing her to limits yet, she graduated with Highest Honors (3.900 to 4.000gpa). Her mom and I absolutely couldn't be any prouder.
Her comments? ...why don't they give us tomorrow and Friday off?
🤣
Seriously though, she is excited but scared for the next steps of her career.

She may have all that fancy training and be better with the brand new cars that she sees daily, but I'm keeping up!! I somewhat recently finished a garage build (years progress since much of it was done or handled by us) so I can stop working in the driveway. :D

P.S. Our son is doing great too and moving up in his industry, recently gaining the holly grail of "(official) full time" (he was already getting it, but wasn't really supposed to be) opening lots of opportunities (this place keeps you on part time till your are an assistant manager, basically). He's very excited for what he does, and makes very good money, although it's not as "fancy?" compared to what our daughter is doing and didn't take any extra school. lol He also took this job while still in high school as laurel did with hers. He's also in the automotive field, but retail and less technical.

Andrew-you must be, and obviously are very proud of your daughter's accomplishments as well as your sons. Feels good as a parent when your children (they are always our kids) land on their feet and happy with what they do.
