My D.tokaiensis has flower staff but it wont bloom

So this Flower staff appeared 3 weeks ago but now it just seem stop to growing .what happend? Should i feed it beacause i heard that Flower need energy to bloom

How are you growing it? Is it under lights?
 
No im just taking it inside for better light because it night outside,and i take it out after shot the picture
 
Aslo im growing it outside beacause im live in tropical area so it pretty much full sun,so im use clear plastic to reduce sunlight to prevent sunburnt and protect the plant from heavy rain

Did it by chance grow tall enough to touch or almost touch the plastic?

Nope the plastic is pretty high so it wont
 
It's hard to see but the tip looks like it was cut off. There should be buds at the end, lots of them, not a point.
 
Yeah...i think it got aborted
 
The tip of the stalk is black which means it aborted. Sundews do that sometimes.

Yes, feed it. A little sacrificial offering always helps.
