'Seems like for all of the talk about carnivorous plants being used for insect control some of the pings are among the few that actually make a difference. For P. gigantea, I wonder if the bugs that get stuck on those yellow sticky strips are also attracted to its leaves. Maybe not as easy as hanging up one of those strips but a lot more satisfying.

I think my assorted thread leaf sundews give Pinguicula a run for the money on who catches more bugs, but they're not a windowsill houseplant like the Pings are.
That they do. They seem to be especially deadly to small moths and houseflies. I need to get some seeds going so I can have some of those beautiful yellow flowers later on.
