Anyone here have experience with keeping mudskippers? It's been two years since rattler asked... :)

I saw some in a pet store for the first time and I'm thinking about setting up a tank for them...

Thanks,
Will

I had one a long time ago. Maybe 5th grade. I couldn't get it to eat anything. I tried everything. crickets, guppies, meal worms, prepared food. Nothing.

I was told to keep it in freshwater, so maybe that's why. I treated it more like a salamander than a fish. It only had like a half inch of water on half the tank, the other half was land. It a very, very cool fish. I've never seen once since then.

We used have them at the wholesaler and kept them in brackish water. They needed places to get on dry land. I never saw them eat and they didn't last long. Not much help here!

I don't think they're supposed to go dry. Even. "Wet land".
