Moss Control

I was just hoping to poll you guys on how best to control non-Sphagnum moss growth on sundews. It grows so abundantly in my greenhouses that it suffocates everything. My current strategy consists of ripping the top layer of media off and transplanting the sundews back in after I've tweezed the moss to death. It's so labor-intensive that I cannot afford to keep doing things this way. It's one of those experiences that makes you wonder if there's a better way.

Has anyone had long-term success with other methods?

Also, how well does layering large-particle media (i.e. perlite, Turface, Aquatic Plant Soil) on the surface work?

A lot of growers seem to have success using coarse silica sand as a top layer, which also tends to look nice. Worth a shot!
