Beautiful pitcher pictures ma'am. Ill be glad when mine start sending up pitchers like this

So jealous, haha. Great shots of the nectar-rimmed pitcher lids. That flava ornata "Black Vein" must be a flying insect magnet with all that nectar!

After visiting Jerry's place and seeing the mammoth scale of his Sarracenia "grow-op," it's almost laughable when you speak to him and realize that he's really just an enthusiast with a huge collection. In fact, it seems this is the case with many of these carnivorous plant nurseries. Visiting can be tantalizing and somewhat frustrating when you realize the most interesting plants are in no way available for purchase. Granted, with Jerry, it's just one man! Dedication in these hobbies can go a long way!

Great guy, though. I can't wait to visit again in the future.

Also, great photos, Brie! ;)

Yeah, it really is amazing that technically all that really is just one massive private collection. And that he handles it all MOSTLY alone(he has several helpers, like Scott and his neighbors). He just really really loves his plants and has a passion for Sarracenia. But yeah, like any collector theres alot of plants he wont sell, but if you're lucky and wait long enough, divisions might eventually be available.

Yes, he's an awesome guy. A true Sarracenia wizard. lol.
