Molding / dying Drosera after shipping

Hi all,

I have been successfully growing a lot of rare/difficult plants but i am a newbie with highland carnivores so i'll need some advice.

1 week ago i received a few Drosera species (D. Felix & D. Arenicola) from the Tepui's for my Tepui terrarium. Sadly after a week the leaves and growth point of the rozette have turned brown and have begun molding. Is this normal after the shipping proces, and will they recover? My climate conditions are:

Day temperature: 21 °c.
Night temperature: 11,5 °c.
Humidity: 80% RH.
Soil: peat moss and perlite (came in pots when recieved).
Lots of Led light.
Lots of ventilation.

D. Roraimae, Heliamphora's and my highland orchids are doing great. Terrarium design is still in the work, havent recieved my hardscape yet so for now it looks quite empty...

Thanks in advance for your tips and tricks!

No this is not normal, and that peat mix looks incredibly dense and nutrient-full if it's flushing with algae that readily. I would bet the roots rotted before you received them, especially if that's what they came in.
Neither of those species need conditions quite that cold either. D. felix is not a particularly highland plant at all.
