Moat for U. purpurea

Just wondering if there are any U. purpurea growers out there? I wanted to put a moat around my bog garden that I'll be constructing in NY and wanted to have an assortment of terrestrial and aquatic Utrics in there. The one I'm worried about is Utricularia purpurea. I read that it can be a large plant but I'm curious how much water it needs to grow well in?

Taylor states it as a medium sized plant with 24 inch or better stolons, .5 - 1.5 mm wide.
But as with any free floating Utric....it will fill what you give it.

It likes very clean water, which is hard to maintain in a closed setup. It will also need some flow to helo move prey towards the bladders. I've noticed that it also does best when covered in a biofilm, sort of like a symbiotic relationship.
