Mex Ping Winter Growth Photos

Hi All

Most of my collection are now well into their non-carnivorous/winter growth mode. I have reduced the photoperiod gradually over the last 2 months from 16 hrs to 12 hrs. The cooler weather also helps stimulate their winter growth mode. Here are a few quick shots of how they are looking at the moment. I much prefer their summer growth, but the one advantage of this time of year are the flowers. I noticed several flower stalks coming up at the moment. Thanks for looking.

Great Pings!
Your P. esseriana look like jamauvensis.
Do you have any flower pics?

Beautiful plants!

Although I have had a few of them flower, I dont have any photos I am afraid. I received this plant from a reliable source and so had never questioned its identity. There are very few plants labelled P. jamauvensis in NZ, in fact, I only know of one or two growers!

When it flowers next, I will certainly check its ID. Thanks.
