I am 0 for 3 with N. mirabilis seed germination. I just received seeds of N. bicalcarata & ampularia. Really all I know is that they need a warm, moist, well-lit environment. But how do all approach this?
The mirabilis seed is still viable, so I wouldn't chuck it.
Since my pot of them dried out, I set the pot in a tray and put it next to lights. Some of them just started germinating. I also did a little experiment this time. I had like 200 amp seeds, and put some in a dimly lit tank, and some right next to a light . The ones right next to a light germinated quicker and in higher number, but only beat the others by a few days.
