Program: (copied from Facebook) Alexander Dietrick studied Evolutionary Biology at the University of Nevada Reno in the United States. He is currently focused on the Drosera of Africa and is working on describing several new species from the continent. His latest expedition involved a trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo to get the first photos of the critically endangered Drosera katangensis. In this presentation, he will give a field report on the Drosera, Genlisea, and Utricularia species that he and Fernando Rivadavia found on their expedition to rediscover this rare sundew. Fernando will be joining Alexander as a co-speaker.
