Making a grow area

Hello, I might be making a grow area, proably out of plywood and line it with reflective material. To waterproof it do I need to cover the entire interior or do I just need to silicon the seams of the grow area? Thanks for the help.

The plywood will not deal well with the moisture so it needs to be protected on all the interior surfaces.
