Maggot removal?

We have spotted a few maggots living in our purpurea pitchers, and I'm wondering if we even need to bother getting rid of them. Any flies that come of it will probably feed our capensis, and I don't know that they are hurting my purpurea. If I should get rid of them, how would I go about it? Unpotting it and tipping it over shoild work, I'm just curious what your opinions are

As they are inside the pitchers, why not fill them with water, kill two birds with one stone, as it were. Get rid of the pest and have a free meal, after all you cant guarantee that when the maggots hatch they will fling themselves at the Capensis.

Cheers
Steve
