Lucky shot of a beetle about to scram...

Found this guy hanging around my plants the other day. I picked him up and he almost flew away, and I caught a glimpse of his wings. That instant, I knew I wanted a picture of them, so I trapped him briefly while I grabbed my camera, then let him crawl around some more.

not any more as not many people used it,there is a thanks button ,but management would prefer people to use it only when they feel it necessary,that is a nice pic of a stunning looking beetle
