NASC auction is OPEN!!

Lithops again.

Spring/summer watering but start easy and remember that they need a gritty compost and very little nutrient. If they split or make too many leaf pairs you are watering too much. They should have one active pair of leaves and during winter/spring the 'last years' leaves should start withering while the new come through.
From seed they are easy - sow in spring - no heat, water gently and spray the seed a bit rather than water.
BTW look out for 3 leaved plants -sometimes they occur - mostly next years bodies are normal, but i have a couple that have kept this trait.

Best regards
Chris
