I live in KY. When its 90F outside during the summer with shade cloth(30%) and AC the inside of my GH is around 105F but mine is in full sun most of the day. I'd grab some just in case.

As far as how much sunlight the plants in question need I couldn't answer you.

As far as needing shade cloth you'll just have to wait until summer and see. Be prepared to buy and install shade cloth should you need it, but ventilation may be enough to keep the heat down.

i started a pineapple this summer, about June 30 in oklahoma, and this was supposed to be one of the hottest summers on record, and I but my pineapple top out in direct sun light tried to water everyday or everyother day and didnt bring it in the house till threat of frost and it is doing great, and it did great outside, when everything else was dying
