Interesting name. When I do a search for it all I see is mentions of it in pot growing forums, though, which makes me wonder if it's a gimmick. By my understanding, the best LEDs are pretty much exclusively available as parts; you have to build the panels yourself.

Looking at all "grow" LED UFOs online it seems pretty expensive, though I can easily see it being practical if it really does last 11 years. The size of the panels seems to make me wonder though, how big and how many LED UFOs would you need for 1 4' by 1' shelf and how close would pants need to be? I have seen LED flashlights so I assume that they do produce a very good amount of light. (also would you need to add any green/blue spectrum light so the plants look normal?) I may consider getting one for a grow rack.
