Lecanopteris mirabilis as a houseplant

It can be done! This plant summers outdoors and during the cooler months sits on top of the bar in my living room. (The bottles of scotch that once sat there have been replaced by plants... priorities). It slows down a bit in the winter but overall I'd say it's one tough plant.

Most Lecanopteris in general seem to be pretty tolerant of abuse, low humidity, heat, and a skipped watering.

Oh and Chris--I'm itching to secure an L. mirabilis, so let me know if I can swap you a crustacea division at some point =). It's big enough to split. Also got some Cavendishia/Macleania/Themistoclesia species.
