Leaves Before Roots

Hi,
This might be a really noob question but, do most Nepenthes cuttings produce leaves before roots. I have a tray of 6 N.Eldon Lee cutting and every single one has produced leaves but no roots. I know they will eventually root but is this common and is there anything I could do to stimulate faster root growth.

This is normal for many Nepenthes, yes. Rooting can take many months. Just be patient.
