On December 16th I finally found the time to finish my new highland tank It is a 120 gallon aquarium (48"x24"x24") with a 6" false bottom. I drilled the rear back left corner and placed a 5.75" tall drain pipe which flows into a sump which is cooled with a 1/4HP aquarium chiller. I have yet to turn the chiller on due to the 2" flex hose I have running to my window blowing in cool air. My current average day time temperature is 21C and night is around 13C, which the plants seem to enjoy. To keep the humidity up I am using a "Python Pond Fogger" that runs for 15 minutes every hour during the day and at night runs for 15 minutes twice an hour. The tank has 8 - 15w Par LED bulbs for lighting, 6@3500K and 2@6500k. Most of my Neps and Broms I did have under a 150w MH started to turn red on the older leaves but most of their new growth has a beautiful waxy shine to them under the new lights. Here are some pics let me know what you think.
