Also known as the CARIBBEAN LOVELEAF, Air Plant, Life Plant, Miracle Leaf and the Goethe Plant.

This is an amazing plant. If you take a leaf and place it on wet soil it will grow new plants from every nook on the leaf.

The leaves get bigger than your hand. These are not extremely invasive as most Kalanchoe species, although they are easy to grow. They probaly can become invasive in places like southern Florida. I grow some out side in the summer and then bring them in before the first frost. A frost will kill them.

I don't know how high they get mine is about 2 ft and still growing. It's a perfect plant to grow with tropical reptiles. My waterdragon loves them. 95% of the time they are sitting on this plant.

Just a quick note, because I figure it wont do any harm since this listing is already on top and wont be bumped:

I got a leaf or two from Ozzy a few years ago and I really enjoy this plant. Easy to grow in just about ANY condition (ranging from outside full sun with only VERY rare waterings, to an indoor low-light houseplant.) I love seeing the new plantlets come up out of the leaves. Cool stuff.

Put it on the soil, then water. I've got roots coming out of mine. I'm sure the better contact the leaf has with the soil, the better it will root. My leaf currently floats when I water, but that's okay. It seems pretty fool proof. Thanks for supporting NASC!
