Yes, eBay is a good source for orchids at pretty reasonable prices. Even for some of the very rare ones if you don't mind a young one that won't bloom for a couple of years.
Its also a great place just to see lots of pics of orchids you don't commonly see.
I've bought from Julies Orchids on there and the plant was really healthy and well packed.
