I've had my Green Dragon flytrap for about 3 months now, and she's mostly green, with little red hairs inside her mouth. She keeps producing new traps faster and faster (now she's got three on the way at once), so she *seems* healthy... But isn't she supposed to be more purplish/red?

I feel like such a bad mother!

Thanks,

Sparklez,

Your green dragon sounds pretty healthy. Are you confusing it with a red dragon? Red dragons have much more red. Green dragons are green and have some red, depending on the amount of sunlight and its intensity. For more red, give it a little more sunlight. If it's a very young plant, it will sometimes start off mostly green and grow more red as it matures. Give your plant a few more months, and a bit more sun.
