Is he dormant? ( I definetely have too many questoins. i'm a n00b at this)

I just received this plant. Is he dormant? Right now it is oct. 3rd.

It's too early for dormancy.

Your VFT is a happy loking plant. It will probably slow down growth in 3 or 4 weeks time.

Date: oct 7. He hasn't grown anything at all, even continuing his growth on half-grown ones. And the order came with a slip saying "some plants are dormant". Maybe that means that some of the plants I ordered WILL go dormant. I e-mailed them, but my e-mail stopped working after I sent it, so I can't get thier answer, and that's why I came to you guys.

That's just a standard note they put in all the shipments, regardless of season. I've ordered plants in June/July and gotten similar notes in them.

Expect at least a week or two for any shipped plant to settle into its new environment. Perhaps longer depending on the species or if the plant was shipped bare root.
