ideas of what this could be growing outta nep.

I thought maybe it was a basal..but idk what it could be since it looks kinda strange to be growing outta the neps stalk where leaves have died off. Just wondering if its something else or normal. Thanx

I've no idea what it is, but it is not a Nepenthes, basal shoot or otherwise.

I'd go with "something else" Probably a weed, but I'm no expert.
