I seriously need some help with candy making

Flip_Side_the_Pint beat me to the Paula Dean butter joke.

Are you trying to become a chef?

Good Eats = Greatest show ever

Well, I used another recipe and it was the best I've ever made. Still a little grainy but a 100% improvement when it comes to moisture, and NOT crumbly at all!

It was 1 cup cream, 2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup peanut butter. I added extra peanut butter lol. I didn't need to wipe down the sides because it bubbled up so much it was like RIGHT at the edge of the top of the pot. I poured it all out onto the counter and didn't stir it at all.

Huzzah! I've always found consulting different recipes is a really good way to learn a dish. Nowadays I rarely try to make something new without looking over three similar recipes at least.
Isn't it a little out of fudge season, though? (When I think fudge it's not usually with beachballs and lemonade.)
