I rarely hear super being used for anything but VERY rare sarcasism. Right now most everyone says cool, or sweet, or as me and 3 or 4 of my closest friends would say "Fancy". I don't know where they came up with it but it is somewhat popular. People around here are odd, especially my friends and I. We have the weirdest words for things.
