I bought some seedlings, but I think the names are outdated, below I will put the crosses and how I think the names should actually be. What do you think, should they be as originally listed, my modification or otherwise?
Thanks for your input!

Original: N. viking "winged" x hookeriana X N. mirabilis x viking
My update: N. (mirabilis globosa x x Hookeriana) x (mirabilis x mirabilis var. globosa)

Original: N. viking "winged" x Hookeriana X N. veitchii x boschiana
My update: N. (mirabilis globosa x x Hookeriana) x (veitchii x boschiana)

Original: N. rafflesiana x mirabilis X N. ampullaria "OMBII"
My update: N. (rafflesiana x mirabilis) x N. 'Black Miracle'

Original: N. veitchii k x (candy striped x candy)
Is that right as is? I never really got into all the veitchii forms.

"Viking" is already well known to reference mirabilis globosa, though if you accept the questionable taxon of orbiculata that might throw things a little...so it doesn't necessarily need changing, it's just a shorthand nickname. If a new cultivar name has been applied to a plant you know a code for, then the cultivar name would be the best most updated form...and the veitchii forms are all mix-named and dependent on what nursery they originated from more than anything else unless they're specifically talking about a locality origin (Bario, Batu Lawi etc.)

@hcarlton Gotcha, I was growing a viking a while back and I couldn't tell you how many times I was told to change the label and stop calling it that but I was inclined to leave it. I didn't know that trend had stopped.
So I'll just add in parenthesis, the x for hookeriana and change OMBII to black miracle.
