How are you growing D. hilaris?

One of my D. hilaris plants turned yellow and eventually brown a while ago. I think that it got too hot near lights (or too much light?) I can't find any info on this one.
my other plant is still growing, but the leaves are much smaller than pictures I see.
It is around 5inches from 40W fluorescent lights with my other sundews, but it doesn't seem to appreciate the light- or something else is wrong.
what do you guys think?

They are winter growers. A lot of heat and light will make them go dormant.

I moved it to a cooler place. Hopefully it won't go into dormancy.
