NASC auction is OPEN!!

Houston.................we have eggs..........

my male Mantella laevigata is exreamly skinny and ive been trying to fatten him up but its been slow going. because i thought he was to skinny to even think of breeding there are no egg deposit sites in that tank other than a the big pool and a bromieliad. well last week he started calling. i didnt think anything of it, just thought he was answering a challenge from a different Mantella species in the next tank over. however over the last two days him and his girlfriend have decided to get busy and i now have 5 eggs, 3 of which are deffinatly fertilized as there are lil tadpoles in the eggs.

i have not raised any frog species from eggs, it will be an adventure. i took these out and placed them in a 1/2 gal container. any more im just going to leave in the tank and see what happens. i realize its a long process from tad to morphing out a froglett with mantellas. guess the best way to learn is personal experiance.

froggy porn!

Awsome photos. I guess that's what they meant in the song "Froggie Goes A' Courtin' "

That will be really neat to watch them grow into frogs. Good luck!
