Hi everyone!
My name is Kerry and I’m so glad I found this group! I was referred here by pochiplants on instagram.
I just recently started my carnivorous plant journey summer of last year. I had fungus gnats and needed a pesticide free way to manage them. I recently adopted a puppy and didn’t want her to eat anything! Then I discovered pings. I ordered a couple, fell in love, and I’ve been collecting since! I haven’t dabbled into other carnivorous plants yet. I want to try out VFTs but right now I’m focusing on my obsession with pings
I also sell my extra pings as a side hustle. Though my dream is to grow it to the point where it can be my full time job! I’d love to make a unique hybrid but I haven’t dabbled in pollination yet. Definitely a goal I want to work towards
I’m so excited I found a community of carnivorous plant lovers! And really appreciate pochi for telling me about the CPASA meetups too! Hopefully he goes by the same username here lol
I’m from Phoenix so I’m definitely going to drive down this weekend to meet everyone!

Welcome to TF. We are happy to have you here! Pings are certainly a good way to get into carnivorous plant growing. That's a nice, big flower on your portrait plant. What is it?
