Well all my Sarrs are growing, either flowers or leaves. Looks like the count is:

S. leucophylla - 3 & 5 buds
S. 'Dana's Delight' - 1
S. flava - 2 (jumped the gun earlier and thought it was 3)

Add one more to the first S. leucophylla. Revised count:

S. leucophylla - 4 & 5 buds
S. 'Dana's Delight' - 1
S. flava - 2

Total 12 flowers

Maybe I'll get one more to make it an even Bugweed's Dozen :grin:

I can't believe how fast the S. flava flowers shot up...

yeah

right now I have:
2 S. luecophylla flowers coming up
3 S. "Scarlette Belle" flowers coming up
and 1 S. rubra ssp. wherryi flower coming up

not much, but enough for my first year
 
457 buds. Minors coming to! Finally showing signs of budding. Leucophylla's are busy. Hurricane Creek White has two buds per growing point. Leah Wilkerson Moorei has three buds. And the Phat Boiz have almost 12. The oreophila's are showing 12 buds too, but are not finished yet. This is getting interesting.

After "only" 457 buds things get interesting :D :cool:
 
Interesting I Pereira because I didn't have this many last year. And they are not all budding yet. The psitts just psitt there!!!!!!

I wish you would make a big bouquet out of hundred of Sarracenia flowers. I'd crap my pants at the sight of that.


So far 12 buds lol.

That gives me a good idea for my wedding one day. Not the crapping pants part... the giant Sarracenia bouquet part lol.

Huh, another S. leucophylla bud just sprang up out of nowhere. Revised count:

S. leucophylla - 5 & 5 buds
S. 'Dana's Delight' - 1
S. flava - 2

Total 13 flowers - a Bugweed's Dozen :-D
 
Well, the psitts are no longer psitting, they are budding, and all the minors are starting to show, some showing. I counted this three times to be as accurate as possible.


561 buds, and still not done producing!
