Few weeks before I bought a pot of Drosera Sidjamseii, 2 mature Drosera with flower.
One of them died, but few sprouts were found, at same time, moss started to grow vigorously. And one sprout is already disappeared.
What can I do to improve they survival rate?
I grow indoor, with full spectrum light of 25Wx2, hanged above plants about 15cm. Light switch on at 6 30am and off at 10pm at night.
Temperature is now between 24 to 30 degree Celsius (Hong Kong now undergoing very hot summer) I use ice pack to lower temperatures every morning at 7am, temperature would be lower to 24and increase generally till about 30 degree at about 4pm and keep constant till I back from work. Then I will turn on air conditioning that will lower temperature to about 25-26 degree.
I put the pots in a tank of water, about 1.5-2cm
The pot is about 5cm deep. I use a transparent plastic cup to cover it to keep high moisture.
