sedges and rushes are common things that sprout from LFS. Would guess Eleocharis of some sort. I got them growing up in all sorts of pots....

Yeah, I get that growing in pretty much everything.. its usually from seeds in the LFS or peat.. I just pull em out..

btw, wetting down then microwaving the LFS/peat will supposedly kill anything like that growing in it.. not that i've done it myself.. just what i've been told/read.
