NASC auction is OPEN!!

Hello

Scaringly, unless I am rationalizing it, the name Billy Gardner does sound familar. I'm trying to remember the name of the elementary school that channeled its kids into Oldfields. Was it Washington Drive or something to that effect? If so, does a 5th grade teacher named Mrs. Rega sound familiar? She is my sister. One of my closest friends lived at 202 Mill Dam something or other. Is Gristedes still around or Link's Log Cabin. What else? 25A / Fort Salonga. Met fan?

Yes, Mets fan. Links Log Cabin burned down when I was in elementary school (Washington Drive). The rest of my siblings went to Little Plains School in Greenlawn. Gristedes is long gone too. I grew up on Ridgefield drive - one of 2 cross streets to Mill Dam. The teacher's name doesn't ring a bell.

Guess i've been away too long! I've been a Met fan since Tom Seaver was a rookie. So it appears your family moved from Greenlawn to Centerport? I attended Little Plains from 2nd grade, onward. I grew up in what was called the Hartland Home Development, which is between Maplewood Rd., Lake Ave., Dix Hills Rd., and Park Ave. Any of that sound familiar?
