NASC auction is OPEN!!

Hello from California

Hello everyone,
Thank you for having me here. I have been in the CP hobby for some 5 years now (wow time flies fast), and I own Dionea muscipula, Sarracenia x 'Fiona', Nepenthese ventrata, Pinguicula agnata x emarginata, and will be getting more plant soon. I also keep ants, (yes, as pets) such as pogonomyrmex rugosus, myrmecocstus depilis, monomorium ergatogyna, Pheidole Bicarinata, and Camponotus Ca-02.
I hope to learn much from all of you, and also share some of my knowledge.

:welcome: to TF! 'Haven't come across any ant keepers but that's interesting. 'Sounds like you have a good selection of carnivorous plants but I don't see any sundews. ;) 'Sorry, but that's my personal focus though I love pings as well. 'Lots of good stuff here and I hope you enjoy it.

Hey
Am vighnesh from India and a student in agriculture i am doing tc on cp since one year and i do love plant interaction ,cp is special because its feels more alive then all plant, i thought only mimosa pudica was the responsive plant in earth . Since i saw a drosera in friends place, its been more magical. So i started working on this since then , im hoping to do some genetic work on this soon , i involved my professor to this now .
I was gathering information in internet ,i stubble in to this group
Your wonderful.

Have you stumbled upon Sarracenia's yet? If not, they are even more magical and originate from SE United States and up the eastern coast. Definitely take a look if you have not already. And welcome.

Hello andynorth1962,
I own one sarracenia at the minute, and recently purchased a Sarracenia purpurea ssp.

Thank you andynorth1962, vighneshagumbe, adnedarn, PraisetheSUNdew, bluemax, and all for welcoming me into your forum.
Here is my sarracenia from a month or two ago, it was much more pretty back then compared to now in hibernation. (I occasionally clean its terrarium, so it is not a dirty as it looks.)
