gutter water

I'll keep it simple, is it safe to collect and use rain water from the gutter on CPs?
Does anyone here do it?

I don't care what you say - I'm answering anyway. It'll be fine, but if you live in Death Valley and it hasn't rained in months, let the first several minutes of rain wash the dust off the roof before collecting any water.

Remember to start collecting rain water 15 minutes after it start raining. This will allows for all the contaminants to wash out of the air first.
