Growing VFT in Oregon?

I live in oregon and have a question about growing my VFT.

Would i be able to grow it outside in the full sun or is this bad. Should it be grown in a Terrarium.
Also is it ok if i grow my Sarr. Oreophylla and Leucophylla outside in full sun with it.
I would use distilled water in a tray about 1 inch deep and put the pots in that so they soak the water through the bottom. Will THIS WORK

Other than a bog or mini-bog you probably won't find better conditions (tray as described) for growing those iin full sun.

I live in Oregon (Dallas) and grow my Sarrs and vft outside all year. Sometimes if the temps go into the low 20's for a few days I put them in an unheated shed but that don't happen often. Good luck growing and welcome to the forum. Jack
