I'm probably not the best qualified to answer this question, since I don't have one myself, but I'm pretty new to this, so I don't have much to put on there.
A growlist is a convenience to people interested in trading plants or looking for certain plants that they want in their collection. They'll compile, basically, a profile or resume of what they currently have for trade or what they're interested in and it helps to answer other people's questions without having to discuss too much...
