Its one thing to debate on scientific merits. No one would bother to debate their side if they felt it was not correct. Thats what makes for some good discussions.

It is another to accuse people of closed-mindedness. Its not fair when you dont even know whether or not they even read the links. If you really want people to listen, make the points yourself and cite the article as your sources, as well as the reasoning behind why you felt that that particular part was vital because ______. People will listen to you. If you leave articles hanging out there, yes, you agree and make your point by putting them up, but for god's sake man, no opinion is so clear-cut and convincing that it will change others minds -snap-. Not even evidence or data can do that, often.

I read your links. Most of us have been here longer, and global warming pops up often. We already debated Gore’s personal energy usage, and almost everything else you put up.

This is a passionate subject for both sides.


But it is of the highest rudeness to come in and tell people they never even considered opinions. You “know” they have never considered opinions because why?

I consider your last post a troll. It will invite stinging personal responses and presumptions because it itself is such. It will offend people, not make them think. Because you already accuse them of being impaired – of considering other options.

See, its per word assuming each time we debated we used 1000. As you can see, each the line stops at 5000. In Finchworld for this moment in time, 5000 = 5. If you dont agree with that, then its 3. Or 3000 or whatever.
