gift for mom

I made this gift for my mother i wrote a poem and then i made a couple of roses, a leaf and three orchids out of paper(origami) then i mixed herbs from last sumer,
lilac petals and lavander flower buds in a mineral oil, then the mineral oil was placed at the bottom of a container , out of the view.   It smells lovely! the poem is in spanish so cant post it. here are some pics.

Awww thats awsome 7santiago, very lovely and pretty.. Me, well my mom lives down state from me and she got her present early her house painted and fixed up and a privacy fence put in and painted plus i trimed and fixed up all her trees and shrubs and put new shrubs in for her.. That just made her day..

a mola is like.. well not really sure. the cuna indians of central america (maybe panama?) make them and sell to tourists. originally they were sewn into clothes as like, decorations. this one is a wall hanging.

made using reverse applique (spelling?) putting layers of pelt upon layers and cutting them away to make pics.
