Germination Help Proboscidea alethaefolia?

I bought seed of Proboscidea alethaefolia on Mesa Garden and I tried several seeds and couldn't germ it. Its not easy like P. parviflora or P. lousianica, Any hints or suggestions?

I have never tried growing this species, but from my past reading I can provide some info.

Scarification. Soak the seed in warm water for several days. Some people use a gibberellic acid treatment. Keep them hot especially after sowing.

Good luck.

just rip the black seed coat off until you see the white "inner" seed. Plant or soak that in water and then plant. I get nearly 100% germ. with this way.
