Gemmae Season?

I was wondering why they produced stipules..

Here's what happens at the end of the season with the gemmae still intact - new trap leaves. Some of the oldest gemma will actually sprout still attached.

@NaN this is what happened to D. omissa in my care. Waited too long to collect them Some gemmae had two or three little leaves.

How many jewels were in that crown?

How are the omissa gemmae that I sent doing?
I sent the gemmae from two more plants to two other members here and a left one "set" for myself to start a colony in a larger container. They were overripe, I wonder if I have waited too long.

So far, 4 of them have sprouted.
